Homecoming Week Activies

It is homecoming time again in the land of the Eagles.  Stratton Schools and the community have a festive week planned full of fun and spirit.  Here are the planned activities for Homecoming Week (9/21-9/26)

Elementary will do Color War Day on Wednesday and Green and White Day on Friday.

Pre-School - Orange

Kindergarten - Purple

1st - Yellow

2nd - Black

3rd - Pink

4th - Red

5th - Blue


Monday:  Color War Day

                        Seniors: Pink
                   Juniors: Blue
                   Sophomores: Purple
                   Freshman: Red
                   8th Grade: Orange
                   7th Grade: Yellow
                   6th Grade: Brown

Tuesday: Tourist Day

Wednesday:   America Day

  • FFA Bike Rodeo for grades K-5th (please bring your bikes)

    Thursday: Hobo Day

    Friday: Green/White Day (Elementary PLEASE show your spirit too!)

  • Spirit Windows
    • Cheerleaders will be window chalking vehicles on the NORTH side of the pool starting at 7:30 am if you would like to have your vehicle display Eagle Pride, please swing by
  • 8 am—All School picture on the bleachers of the football field
  • MS/HS students building floats in various locations
  • Elementary students will participate in activities at the park in the afternoon
  • 2 pm—Community Pep Rally at the football field featuring:
    • Senior Games
    • Student Council Pie Throw
  • Bonfire/S’mores at Sundown at Football Parking Lot (S’mores provided by StuCo)
  • Middle School Dance in the High School Cafeteria 8-10 pm
    • 6th Grade Bring Sweet Snack
    • 7th Grade Bring Salty Snack
    • 8th Grade Bring Drinks
      • Note: If you forget your snack/drink there will be a $5 admission price


  • 9 am-Parade Lineup at the high school football parking lot
  • 9:30-Parade (See the Stratton Spotlight for parade route)
  • 11 am—Lady Eagle Volleyball against Eads
  • 12:30—Free Community Barbeque in the Park
  • 2 pm—Eagle Football against Eads
  • 6:30 pm—Alumni Banquet
  • 8 pm—Homecoming Dance for Stratton High School Students
